WHEREAS, the Honorable Ralph P. Watson created Classic Events! Public Relations with the belief that small business development is the foundation of our communities and the driving force for job creation and economic development; and,
WHEREAS, Classic Events! has been established to support the infusion of entrepreneurs into the business landscape of our city, and therefore produces several effective direct marketing platforms that educate, empower and inform many of our diverse and underserved populations; and,
WHEREAS, Classic Events! further advocates to bring government and business together to enhance the socio-economic growth of our region via the production of a series of market specific events that include: Black History Celebration Dinner, Ladies who Network, Youthpreneur, Business/Political Forum, Men's Health Initiative, Taste o'da Burgh; and,
WHEREAS, each of these events help build relationships and directly connect entrepreneurs with civic leaders, community stakeholders and elected officials to accelerate the distribution of resources that stimulate business development and growth; and,
WHEREAS, all Classic Events! name branded community based platforms include a "Vendor showcase" that provide opportunities for entrepreneurs to directly market any organization, business, product or service to stimulate access and exposure into new markets for entrepreneurs; and,
WHEREAS, the 3rd Annual Classic Events! Salute to Legal Excellence Dinner will be held on Friday, October 6, 2017.
