Resolution authorizing, pursuant to Ch. 210 (“Acceptance of Gifts to City”) of the City Code, the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Safety to accept a donation from BNY Mellon of fully depreciated office cubicle systems and free-standing office furniture totaling an estimated Ninety-Eight Thousand Dollars ($98,000), which shall be used for the purpose of redesigning office spaces of the City’s Department of Public Safety Administration unit and the Bureau of Police Intelligence division.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.                       The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Safety are authorized, pursuant to City Code Ch. 210 (“Acceptance of Gifts to City”), to accept a donation from BNY Mellon of fully depreciated office cubicle systems and free-standing office furniture whose value totals an estimated Ninety-Eight Thousand Dollars ($98,000), and which shall be used for the purposes of redesigning office spaces of the City’s Department of Public Safety Administration unit and the Bureau of Police Intelligence division. Such furniture will be used to replace and/or supplement existing dilapidated items.
