Resolution providing for the execution of a Cooperation Agreement or Agreements with the Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh, the Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority, and the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh for the dedication of East Liberty/Larimer Park and related matters. Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor, the Director of the Department of Public Works, and the Director of the Department of Parks and Recreation on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into a Cooperation Agreement or Agreements with the Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh (“HACP”), the Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority (“PWSA”) and the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh (“URA”), in a form approved by the City Solicitor, authorizing the acceptance by the City of deeds of dedication to East Liberty/Larimer Park as phases of the park are completed, authorizing URA to apply, on behalf of the City, for any permits or approvals required for the construction of a park, the assignment to the City of all leases and permits associated with the park on completion of construction of each relevant phase, and the waiver of permit fees for contractors retained by URA in the construction of the park.
