Title

Resolution authorizing the Mayor and Director of the Office of Management and Budget to execute relevant agreements to receive grant funding to support the Alternative Fuels Incentive Gant (AFIG) with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection. This grant is for the second avenue electric vehicle project providing assistance to purchase 10 electric sedans to be used by the City’s motorpool and further providing for an agreement and expenditures not to exceed EIGHTY THOUSAND ($80,000.00) dollars for this stated purpose.

 

Body

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.                     The Mayor and the Director of the Office of Management and Budget of the City of Pittsburgh are authorized to execute relevant agreements with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection the in order to receive a grant award of EIGHTY THOUSAND ($80,000.00) dollars for the second avenue electric vehicle project providing assistance to purchase 10 electric sedans to be used by the City’s motorpool.  Monies from the grant agreement shall be deposited into the Grants Trust Fund account 0229400210.45505.00.

 

Section 2.                     The Mayor and the Director of the Office of Management and Budget of the City of Pittsburgh are further authorized to enter into an Agreement, or Contract, or utilize existing Agreements or Contracts and not to exceed EIGHTY THOUSAND ($80,000.00) dollars, providing for assistance in purchasing 10 electric sedans for the City’s motorpool under the terms of the agreement between the City and the Department of Environmental Protection chargeable to and payable from the Grants Trust Fund account 0229400210.50000.00.
