Title

Resolution authorizing the Mayor and Director of the Office of Management and Budget to execute relevant agreements to receive grant funding to support the Alternative Fuels Incentive Gant (AFIG) with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection. This grant is for the Second Avenue Charging Station Project to assist in the purchase of renewable powered and mobile, dual port electric vehicle charging stations and further providing for an agreement and expenditures not to exceed ONE HUNDRED SEVENTY FIVE THOUSAND ($175,000.00) dollars for this stated purpose.

 

Body

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.                     The Mayor and the Director of the Office of Management and Budget of the City of Pittsburgh are authorized to execute relevant agreements with the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection the in order to receive a grant award of ONE HUNDRED SEVENTY-FIVE ($175,000.00) dollars for the Second Avenue Charging Station Project.  This project provides for five renewable powered and mobile, dual port electric vehicle charging stations. Monies from the grant agreement shall be deposited into the Grants Trust Fund account 0229400211.45505.00.

 

Section 2.  The Mayor and the Director of the Office of Management and Budget of the City of Pittsburgh are further authorized to enter into an Agreement, or Contract, or utilize existing Agreements or Contracts and not to exceed ONE HUNDRED SEVENTY-FIVE THOUSAND ($175,000.00) dollars, providing for the Second Avenue Charging Station Project under the terms of the agreement between the City and the Department of Environmental Protection chargeable to and payable from the Grants Trust Fund account 0229400211.50000.00.
