WHEREAS, Bike Pittsburgh is a non-profit 501(c) (3) organization, founded in 2002 and, 

WHEREAS, Bike Pittsburgh maintains its principal place of business and conducts its principal activities in the City of Pittsburgh; and,

WHEREAS, Bike Pittsburgh, with a focus on Advocacy, Education, and Community, seeks to transform our streets and communities into vibrant, healthy places by making them safe and accessible for people to bike and walk; and,

WHEREAS, the Applicant desires to operate certain small games of chance and/or conduct raffles to generate funds for a one year time period; and,

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby recognize Bike Pittsburgh to be a civic and/or service organization within the context of the Pennsylvania Small Games of Chance Act, as amended.
