Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

That Carnegie Mellon University, 5000 Forbes Avenue, Pittsburgh PA 15213, their successors and assigns, is hereby granted the privilege to construct, maintain and use at their own cost and expense;

Forbes Avenue (Figure 1)
l. A concrete driveway ramp measuring 46 feet long by 10 feet wide into the right of way.
2. Bike racks located 2 feet behind the curb line
3. 6 planter beds (privately maintained) of varying dimensions including 3 foot tall Panicum virgatum
"Shenandoah" (a.k.a. Shenandoah Switch grass) and 7 foot tall Plantanus X acerfolia
"Bloodgood" (a.k.a. London Planetree Bloodgood)
South Neville Street (Figure 2)
l. A concrete retaining wall and curb bump out
2. 42 linear feet of subsurface (12- in) HPDE stormwater drainage pipe
3. A concrete retaining wall with concrete curb
4. An asphalt apron for the loading dock
5. Concrete sidewalk and depressed curb.
6. A street light
7. Concrete steps with 5" bike runnel 1" above nose of stair tread (from detail 4 on sheet L8.03)
8. A 15 foot pole-mounted 40W LED, dimmable, wet-rated pedestrian light near the stairs

in the 14th Ward, 8th Council District of the City of Pittsburgh.


Section 1. The said encroachment shall conform to the provisions of their resolution and in accordance with the Plan identified as Accession D-819 on file in the Division of Surveys, Department of Public Works.

Section2. The said Grantee prior to the beginning of the construction of said encroachment shall submit to the Director of the Department of Public Works of the City of Pittsburgh...
