Ordinance amending the Pittsburgh Code, Title Five, Article VII, Parking Meters, by updating meter rate for Allentown Meter Zone in chapter 543.01 section (b).
Body
WHEREAS Pittsburgh Code, Title Five, Article VII , Parking Meters, Chapter 543.01 defines the rates of revenue collection at Pittsburgh parking meters; and,
WHEREAS, the Pittsburgh Parking Authority and Department of Public Works are reinstalling parking meters in the Allentown Meter Zone; and,
WHEREAS, the meter rate for the Allentown Meter Zone prior to meter removal was historically $.50 per hour; now, therefore, and,
WHEREAS, parking meters are also being reinstalled in the Knoxville/ Mt. Oliver City Neighborhood, where the historical meter rate has been $1.00; now, therefore,
Be it resolved that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby enacts as follows:
Section 1: Ordinance amending the Pittsburgh Code, Title Five, Article VII, Parking Meters, by updating meter rate for Allentown Meter Zone in chapter 543.01 section (b).

(a)
The following on-street surface parking meter zones are hereby established, and the boundaries of each such zone shall be as set forth in the maps contained in Appendix 1 to this Ordinance:
? Downtown
? Oakland - Zone 1
? Oakland - Zone 2
? Oakland - Zone 3
? Oakland - Zone 4
? Shadyside
? Strip District
? North Shore
? South Side
? Squirrel Hill
? North Side
? Uptown
? Brookline
? Mount Washington
? Bloomfield/Garfield
? East Liberty
? Lawrenceville
? Mellon Park Area
? Beechview
? Allentown
? West End
? Carrick

Parking meter zones shall have the following rates and hours of operation:
The following hourly on-street metered parking fees are enforceable Monday through Saturday per the schedule below. Enforcement will begin at 8:00 a.m. in all zones and will conclude at the time specified in the schedule below:
