WHEREAS, PA Cleanways of Allegheny County, dba, Allegheny Cleanways is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, founded in 2000; and,
WHEREAS, PA Cleanways of Allegheny County, dba, Allegheny Cleanways maintains its principal place of business and conducts its principal activities in the City of Pittsburgh; and,
WHEREAS, PA Cleanways of Allegheny County, dba, Allegheny Cleanways engages and empowers people to eliminate illegal dumping and littering in Allegheny County; and,
WHEREAS, the Applicant desires to operate certain small games of chance and/or conduct raffles to generate funds to finance its operations at a film festival they are hosting which begins on March 9, 2017; and,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize PA Cleanways of Allegheny County, dba, Allegheny Cleanways as a civic and/or service organization within the context of the Pennsylvania Small Games of Chance Act, as amended.
