Resolution granting unto Elizabeth Pharmacy, their successors and assigns, the privilege and license to construct, maintain and use at their own cost and expense, a handicap ramp with landing, at 5041 Second Avenue Pittsburgh, PA 15207 in the 15th Ward, Council District 5 of the City of Pittsburgh, USA.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1. That Elizabeth Pharmacy, their successors and assigns, are hereby granted the privilege to construct, maintain and use at their own cost and expense,

1. Elizabeth Pharmacy is seeking to implement a new ADA accessible ramp, on the West side of the building at 5041 Second Avenue along Second Avenue. The ramp will rise to a height of 0'7", meeting at a 4'8"X 5'0" landing. A landing on the ground level will be 5'0" X 5'0". The two landings will meet at a ramp with a slope of 1:20 for a length of 1'8". The total width of the ramp, as it extends out into the sidewalk, will be 5'0" and the total length will be 11'8". This leaves 7'0" of pedestrian walk space from the 12'0" wide sidewalk. The work will be done at 5041 Second Avenue, 15th ward, Council District 5 of the City of Pittsburgh, USA.

The said encroachment shall conform to the provisions of their resolution and in accordance with the Plans on file in the Americans with Disabilities Act Office, Department of City Planning.

Section 2. The said Grantee prior to the beginning of the construction of said encroachment shall submit to the ADA Coordinator of the City of Pittsburgh for further review by Director of the Department of Public Works of the City of Pittsburgh, a complete set of plans, in triplicate, showing the location and all details of said construction. Said plans and said construction shall be subject to the approval and supervision of the Director of the Department of Public Works.
