Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Chief and Director of Innovation & Performance to enter into a grant agreement with the City Energy Project, a program of the Natural Resources Defense Council and Institute for Market Transformation to receive $200,000 in funding to support (1) one consultant energy advisor for two-years; (2) Participation in the City Energy Project and (3) the development of a city-wide energy efficiency policy and programs.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.                     The Mayor and the Chief of Innovation and Performance are hereby authorized to enter into a Grant Agreement with the City Energy Project for the receipt of grant monies in the amount of two-hundred thousand dollars.  These funds will be used to support (1) an Energy Advisor consultant (2) participation in the City Energy Project and (3) the development of city-wide energy efficiency policy and programs. The Grant Agreement shall be approved as to form and substance by the City Solicitor and monies shall be deposited into the account number JDE# 0329400194.48311.00

 

Section 2.                     The Chief of Innovation and Performance, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, is hereby further authorized to enter into agreement or agreements, contract or contracts, and to make all legitimate expenditures required under the terms and conditions of the Grant Agreement with the City Energy Project outlined in Section 1 of this resolution. Said agreement or agreements, contract or contracts, or expenditures shall not exceed two-hundred thousand dollars chargeable to and payable from the JDE# 0329400194.50000.00 Budget Year 2016.

 

Finally, that any Ordinance or Resolution or part thereof conflicting with the provisions of this Resolution, is hereby repealed so far as the same affects this Resolution.
