Title

(d/b/a SST, Inc.) for the continuation of the City's subscription of gunshot-detection hardware and software at an overall cost not to exceed Four Hundred Sixty-Four Thousand Dollars and No Cents ($464,000.00).

WHEREAS, in 2016 the City entered into an Amended Agreement with SST, Inc. as authorized by Resolution No. 41 of 2016, for the purpose of extending the term of the Agreement (as initially authorized by Resolution No. 312 of 2013 and as later amended by Resolution No. 678 of 2013) from January 22, 2016 until January 21, 2017, increasing the not-to-exceed compensation amount from One Hundred Ninety Four Thousand Dollars and No Cents ($194,000.00) to Three Hundred Twenty-Nine Thousand Dollars and No Cents ($329,000.00) and providing for modifications to the Agreement's account information.

WHEREAS, the City now seeks to further amend its Amended Agreement with SST, Inc. to extend the term thereof from January 22, 2017 until January 21, 2018 at a cost not to exceed One Hundred Thirty-Five Thousand Dollars and No Cents ($135,000.00) and in order that the City may continue its system of gunshot-detection hardware and software in the City of Pittsburgh, thereby increasing the overall cost of said Agreement(s) to Four Hundred Sixty-Four Thousand Dollars and No Cents ($464,000.00).

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1 of Resolution No. 312 of 2013, entitled "Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Safety and the Chief of Police to enter into contract(s) and/or agreement(s) with SST, Incorporated for the purpose of installing gunshot-detection hardware and software in the City of Pittsburgh" and as amended by Resolution No. 678 of 2013, is hereby amended as follows:
