WHEREAS, the Coro Center for Civic Leadership is a non-profit 501(c) (3) organization, founded in 1999; and,
WHEREAS, the Coro Center for Civic Leadership maintains its principal place of business and conducts its principal activities in the City of Pittsburgh; and,
WHEREAS, the Coro Center for Civic Leadership seeks to build an inclusive community where people of all backgrounds and circumstances participate in making their communities more livable for everyone; and,
WHEREAS, the Applicant desires to operate certain small games of chance and/or conduct raffles to generate funds as a part of its annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Leadership Awards ceremony; and,

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby recognize the Coro Center for Civic Leadership to be a civic and/or service organization within the context of the Pennsylvania Small Games of Chance Act, as amended.
