Resolution authorizing the Mayor to amend an agreement with Shift Collaborative to increase the amount to FORTY-FIVE THOUSAND Dollars ($45,000), for the preliminary buildout of a Municipal/City ID.
Body
WHEREAS, the City of Pittsburgh wishes to develop an ID with support and features to increase access and use of facilities, services, and amenities by children and adults, provide easier identity and residency verification with local law enforcement, increase transportation access, provide easy-entry access to financial institutions for unbanked individuals, and reinforce a culture of unity and welcome for all Pittsburgh residents;
WHEREAS, Shift Collaborative possesses the skill and desire to provide planning support to define the program parameters and requirements to create, launch, and manage the dissemination and on-going maintenance of this program; and
WHEREAS, outreach for the project was extended as well as program initiatives for the Municipal/City ID project; NOW THEREFORE
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, is hereby authorized to use funds, in an amount not to exceed FORTY-FIVE THOUSAND Dollars ($45,000), to amend a professional services agreement with Shift Collaborative, for the preliminary buildout of a Municipal/City ID. Purchases are authorized and shall be paid out of the Grants Trust Fund account 0229400163.50000.00.
