Title
Resolution amending Resolution No. 545, effective August 13, 2015, entitled” Authorizing the Mayor and/or the Director of the Department of Finance and/or the Director of the Department of Public Works, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, to enter into agreements for the purpose of receiving grant funds that will be used for the construction the “Mon Wharf Switchback Ramp” and to thereafter enter into an additional Agreement or Agreements with Riverlife, and the Urban Redevelopment Authority, and other agencies as needed to accept any grant funds offered to the City for this project, and further providing for legitimate expenditures for payments and agreement or agreements, or contract or contracts for any services required in connection with the expenditure of said grant funds per the original intent of the grant award. Said agreement or agreements, contract or contracts or expenditures shall not exceed $2,491,244.00, by increasing the project allocation to $2,844,995.00.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1 of Resolution No. 545, effective August 13, 2015, which presently reads as follows:
Section 1
“The Mayor and/or the Director of the Department of Finance and/or the Director of the Department of Public Works, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into agreements, in a form approved by the City Solicitor, providing for an up to $750,000.00 grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation, up to $490,000.00 in an RCAP grant through the URA, and $1,251,244.00 from the Riverlife Task Force for the construction the “Mon Wharf Switchback Ramp”.
Grant funds shall be deposited to the following accounts:

4029400159.45505.00 (PADOT) Mon Wharf Switchback Federal $750,000.00

And Section 2 of Resolution No. 545, effective August 13, 2015, which presently reads as follows:
Section 2
“The Mayor and/or the Director of the Department of Finance and/or the Director of the Department of Public Works, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby further authorized to enter into agreement or agreements, contract or contracts, and to make all legitimate expenditures required under the terms and conditions of the Grant Agreement with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Transportation and with various for-profit corporations and non-profit agencies providing outlined in Section 1 of this resolution. Said agreement or agreements, contract or contracts, or expenditures shall not exceed Two Million Four Hundred Ninety One Thousand and Two Hundred Forty Four Dollars Dollars ($2,491,244.00) chargeable to and payable from:

Finally, that any Ordinance or Resolution or part thereof conflicting with the provisions of this Resolution, is hereby repealed so far as the same affects this Resolution.”
