WHEREAS, the Honorable Ralph P. Watson created Classic Events!, a Public Relations and Marketing group supporting small businesses as the foundation of our local economy, connecting entrepreneurs with civic leaders, community stakeholders and elected officials to accelerate their business growth and development; and,
WHEREAS, created to empower, educate and inform our region while providing a platform for entrepreneurs to enhance the socio-economic development of our region, Classic Events! remains an advocate for these entrepreneurs via the essential component of direct-marketing/networking for the success of their organization or business interests; and,
WHEREAS, the 2nd Annual Classic Events! Salute to Legal Excellence Dinner will be held October 22, 2016. This prestigious recognition will be given to extremely accomplished legal professionals that include: Lauren Catanzarite Esq., Honorable Kim Berkeley-Clark, Honorable Louis Coles, Patrick Connelly Esq., Jessel A. Costa Esq., Honorable Kim M. Hoots, Elliott Howsie Esq., Honorable Beth A. Lazzara, Ernest H. Sharif Esq., Honorable David Spurgeon, Timothy Newton Vales, Frank Walker II Esq., Honorable Robert C. Watson, Honorable J. Warren Watson, Honorable Wrenna L. Watson., Honorable Cyril Wecht MD. JD., and Wendell Freeland Esq.; and,
WHEREAS, Classic Events! will also posthumously "salute" Wendell Freeland Esq., a highly respected civil rights advocate for the underserved and relentless fighter for racial justice; and,
WHEREAS, further recognizing the civic, social and humanitarian efforts of these legal professionals through their extensive experience in varied areas of law, Classic Events! salutes each of them for their combination of skill and integrity that they have brought to this chosen vocation with impressive careers often following a dual trajectory; and,
