Title: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that as Brendan moves out of the public sector and into a job with Triad Strategies, located in Harrisburg, the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby extends its heartfelt thanks for the countless hours Brendan has invested into making our city a better place; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Tuesday, October 4th to be "Brendan Schubert Day" in the City of Pittsburgh. Best of luck in all your future endeavors, Brendan!

WHEREAS, Brendan Schubert’s professional career has been marked by years of distinguished public service including, serving in the office of State Representative Tom Petrone, six years in Pittsburgh’s City Planning Department as the Zoning Code Administrative Officer and nearly four years with the Pittsburgh Water and Sewer Authority; and,

 

WHEREAS, Brendan, his wife Jessica, and their two year old daughter Adrianne, have lived on the North Side for the last six years with their two dogs and two cats.  Brendan has been an active and involved citizen serving as the Vice President of the Brighton Heights Citizen Federation.  He also formerly served on the Board of Directors of Rebuilding Together Pittsburgh; and,

 

WHEREAS, Brendan’s educational accomplishments include a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master’s degree from Carnegie Mellon’s Heinz College; and,

 

WHEREAS, Brendan Schubert’s years of service to the Pittsburgh region are an example of hard work and dedication and all who have worked with Brendan have come to know how hardworking, committed, and devoted he is to making the Pittsburgh region a better place; and,
