Title

Resolution vacating a portion of Bushnell Street at Varley Street in the 26th Ward, 1st Council District of the City of Pittsburgh.

Body

WHEREAS, it appears by the petition and affidavit on file in the Office of the City Clerk that the owners of all the property fronting or abutting on the line of portions of Bushnell Street Way in the 26th Ward, 1st Council District of the City of Pittsburgh have petitioned the council of the City of Pittsburgh to enact a resolution for the vacation of same, and

WHEREAS, said petition contains inter-alia, an indemnification of the City from any claims and from the payment of any damages whatsoever resulting to any properties owned by the petitioners or by any persons whatsoever, abutting or non-abutting, for or by reason of said vacation, therefore vacating:

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.                     Vacating a portion of Bushnell Street, 40 feet wide, from Varley Street westerly for a distance of 215 feet to its terminus as an unopened 40 foot right-of-way at Bushnell Way.  This portion is adjacent to Allegheny County Lot and Blocks 47-K-206, 208, 226 and 228 and adjacent to Lots 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50, 51, 52, and 53 in the WJ Beckfeld-JC Beckfeld & Mrs. M. Rieger Plan of Lots, recorded in Plan Book Volume 13, page 89, recorded October 7, 1896, in the 26^th Ward, 1^st Council District of the City of Pittsburgh as described above shall be and the same is hereby vacated.
