Resolution authorizing the Mayor, Director of the Office of Management and Budget and the City Controller’s Office to enter into a Contract or Agreement with Bank of America Merrill Lynch to provide Purchasing Cards and ePayables Cards. Said agreement will be at no cost to the City.

WHEREAS, Ordinance 20 of 2016 authorizes City Departments to use Purchasing Cards for the purchase of goods and services; and,
WHEREAS, the implementation of Purchasing Cards and ePayables Cards will increase transparency and functionality in our financial systems and streamline the procurement process to achieve efficiencies and save taxpayer dollars; and,
WHEREAS, a Request for Proposals was bid and Bank of America Merrill Lynch emerged from the bid process as the best qualified provider of Purchasing Cards and ePayables Cards; and
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor, Director of the Office of Management and Budget and City Controller’s Office are hereby authorized to enter into a Contract or Agreement with Bank of America Merrill Lynch to provide Purchasing Cards and ePayables Cards.
Said Agreement shall be in a form approved by the City Solicitor.
