Resolution vacating Various Middle Hill Streets in the 5th Ward, 6th Council District of the City of Pittsburgh.

WHEREAS, it appears by the petition and affidavit on file in the Office of the City Clerk that the owners of all the property fronting or abutting on the line of these Various Middle Hill Streets in the 5th Ward, 6th Council District of the City of Pittsburgh have petitioned the council of the City of Pittsburgh to enact a resolution for the vacation of same, and

 

WHEREAS, said petition contains inter-alia, an indemnification of the City from any claims and from the payment of any damages whatsoever resulting to any properties owned by the petitioners or by any persons whatsoever, abutting or non-abutting, for or by reason of said vacation; therefore vacating the following various Middle Hill Streets:

 

Location #1, Unnamed Way, 5 feet, from Erin Street to Drury Way

 

All that certain alley, 5.00 feet wide, to be vacated, as shown on the Dr. Edrington Plan of Building Lots as recorded in the Allegheny County Department of Real Estate, in Plan Book Volume 7, Page 31, situate in the 5th Ward, City of Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, more particularly bound and described as follows:

 

Beginning at a point at the intersection of the northeasterly right of way line of Erin Street, 50.00 feet wide, and the northwesterly right of way line of an alley, 5.00 feet wide; thence from said point of beginning by the northwesterly right of way line of an alley N 62° 00’ 00” E a distance of 100.57 feet to a point on the southwesterly right of way line of Drury Way, as projected; thence by the southwesterly right of way line of Drury Way S 61° 16’ 18” E a distance of 5.98 feet to a point on the southeasterly right of way line of said alley; thence by the southeasterly right of way line of said alley S 62° 00’ 00” W a distance of 103.85 feet to a point on the northeasterly right of way line of said Erin Street; thence by the northeasterly right of way line of said Erin Street N 28° 00’ 00” W a distance of 5.00 feet to a point at the intersection of the northeasterly right of way line of said Erin Street and the northwesterly right of way line of said alley, at the point of beginning.

Beginning at a point at the intersection of the northwesterly right of way line of Webster Avenue, 60.00 feet wide, and the northeasterly right of way line of Drury Way, 20.00 feet wide, as shown on the Dr. Edrington Plan of Building Lots as recorded in the Allegheny County Department of
