Title

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.                     The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Safety on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement or agreements commencing on or about August 1, 2016 and shall expire December 31, 2019 with an option to renew for one (1) additional year.  The agreement or agreements shall be in a form approved by the City Solicitor, for the Animal Rescue League to provide professional services in connection with the detention, care and/or euthanasia of domesticated animals at a cost not to exceed One Million Dollars ($1,000,000) chargeable to and payable from Department of Public Safety, Bureau of Animal Care and Control subject to the appropriation of funds by City Council in future budget years:.
