• Title: NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby commend the St. Margaret Varsity Soccer Team and Coaches Ray Brooks and Shawn Wigle for their outstanding season and Championship win; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Tuesday, June 28, 2016, to be "St. Margaret Spring Soccer Team Day" in the City of Pittsburgh.

WHEREAS, St. Margaret Varsity 7^th and 8^th Grade Spring Soccer Team were crowned the World Cup Varsity  Champions in the Diocesan Tournament on June 5, 2016; and,

WHEREAS, the co-ed Spring Team went undefeated through the entire season outscoring their opponents in the regular season 33-5; and,

WHEREAS, the Spring Team consists of: Zach Blair, Francis Bochicehio, Joey Brooks, Oliver Casadei, Rebecca Crawford, Liam Cringle, Brendan Greco, Connor Jacobs, Luke Kaupinis, Aiden Lockard, Jordan Nutter, George Olugbade, Jonathan Savko, John Shovlin, Tyler Stack, Kayla Stern, Nicholas Wigle and Ballboy Hayden Wigle; and,

WHEREAS, Rebeca Crawford, Connor Jacobs, Aiden Lockard and Tyler Stack from the Spring Team also made the All-Tournament Team; and,

WHEREAS, in addition, Rebecca Crawford was named the MVP for both the All-Tournament Team and the Spring Team; and,
