Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

 

Section 1.                     The Mayor is hereby authorized to issue and the City Controller to countersign a warrant in the total sum of Seven Hundred and Eighty-Five Thousand Dollars ($785,000.00) in favor of the Foster v. City of Pittsburgh Class Members and attorneys, to be divided as follows: $275,035.23 to Feinstein Doyle Payne & Kravec; $186,855.51 to the ACLU of Pennsylvania; and $323,108.66, divided amongst the individual Class Members as specified in Exhibit 1 (a confidential version of Exhibit 1, including addresses and social security, all necessary for payment purposes, will be circulated internally and is not a public document), in compliance with the Court-approved Settlement Agreement, and as payment for releasing and discharging the City of Pittsburgh from liability and damages as described in the civil class action filed in the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania at No. 2:12-cv-01207, charging same to 11101.58.58105.108000.2016.
