Title: Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Finance and/or the Director of Public Works to adopt the applicable Commonwealth of Pennsylvania CoStars agreement(s) and to enter into a related agreement or agreements with Cartegraph Systems, Inc. that will permit the City to continue licensing application software and to purchase associated subscription, maintenance, cloud hosting, and professional services. The total cost over three years for 2016-2018 shall not exceed $471,850.00.

Title

Body
WHEREAS, the City currently licenses Cartegraph System Inc.'s Application software and has been purchasing associated subscription, maintenance, cloud hosting, and professional services pursuant to the terms of an applicable Commonwealth of Pennsylvania CoStars Agreement and related Cartegraph Master Agreement and Purchase Agreements; and

WHEREAS, using the Cartegraph platform currently allows the City's Department of Public Works to provide iPads to inspectors, supervisors, and foremen in order to enable them to respond to requests for assistance directly from the field and to enter data for completed maintenance tasks without requiring paper forms, and duplicate data entry has further allowed supervisory personnel to spend more time in the field with their teams and help to reduce the turn-around time for assistance requests assigned to DPW; and

WHEREAS, the current subscription year expires on July 7, 2016, and the City wishes to continue purchasing these licenses and related services for up to an additional three (3) years.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
