Title: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby celebrates Ladies Who Network and SURVIVORS, and; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council hereby declares Saturday, May 14, 2015, "Ladies Who Network Day" in the City of Pittsburgh.

WHEREAS, Founded by the Honorable Ralph P. Watson CLASSIC EVENTS! Public Relations and Marketing consistently brings awareness and exposure to the business interests of entrepreneurs while connecting them to civic leaders, decision makers, politicians, and;

WHEREAS, CLASSIC EVENTS! was created to empower and advocate for these entrepreneurs with the essential component of networking for the success of their organization or business interest. CLASSIC EVENTS! affirms the philosophy: "Increasing your NETWORK..Increases your NETWORTH!!!", and;

WHEREAS, supporting the infusion of small business development while giving entrepreneurs a direct marketing platform to gain access to new business opportunities throughout our region producing market-specific community networking events to include CLASSIC EVENTS! 4th Annual "LADIES who NETWORK" Afternoon Tea with the theme being SURVIVORS; taking place Saturday May 14, 2016 at Hosanna House 807 Wallace Avenue; and,

WHEREAS, this signature "Pink Carpet" event which gives focus to Women's Healthcare will be hosted by The "Empress of Etiquette," Michele Goodman-Jones, owner of Michele Goodman Studio. A community leader, entrepreneur, etiquette coach and job skills trainer. Michele assists young women on both image and self-esteem through her I.M.A.G.E. Workshops (Interviewing, Makeup, Appearance, and Grooming Etiquette). While her passion remains working with young women on runway presentation, modeling and manners, in recent years Michele extended her etiquette workshops to include business etiquette and manners for professionals, and;

WHEREAS, our "Pink Carpet" correspondent will be Debbie Norrell who is a model, professional actress with impressive credits that include community theatre, television, radio and feature films.
