Title: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh joins B-PEP in celebrating B-PEP Jazz, and does hereby declare Monday, March 28th 2016 to be "B-PEP Jazz Day" in the City of Pittsburgh.

WHEREAS, The Black Political Empowerment Project (B-PEP) is hosting the annual B-PEP Jazz event in association with the Pittsburgh Jazz Society and other local partners; and,

WHEREAS, this year's event will take place on Monday, March 28th 2016 at the University of Pittsburgh University Center on Lytton Avenue in the Oakland neighborhood, featuring dozens of artists in a six-hour jazz marathon to celebrate the culture of Jazz in our great city; and,
