Title: NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby congratulate Mr. Paul Foster for his accomplishment as an author and wish him well on his second book; and, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Tuesday, February 2, 2016, to be "Paul Foster Day" in the City of Pittsburgh.

WHEREAS, Paul J. Foster has resided in California since 1987 but his heart is in Pittsburgh where he was raised in the neighborhood of Westwood and still follows Pittsburgh Sports teams, reads the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette online daily and keeps up to date with Pennsylvania politics; and,

 

WHEREAS, his new book “Everyone’s Entitled to My Opinion” is a collection from his blog written in the perspective of a Pittsburgh, blue collar opinion regarding “All things “yinz” are afraid to say!”; and, 

 

WHEREAS, it is a sometimes humorous and sometimes serious insight into our society and today’s current events, with no topic off limits, leaving the reader thinking about what really matters and contemplating how and why we think about many issues; and,

 

WHEREAS,  Paul is a Public Speaker, Life Consultant, Freelance Writer and Author and a sports and outdoor enthusiast who has travelled to 5 of the 7 continents; and,

 

WHEREAS, Mr. Foster is working on a second book designed to help people identify their hidden successes which goes along with his mission to help others cultivate their skills, abilities, and personal strengths; and,

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED,  that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby congratulate Mr. Paul Foster for his accomplishment as an author and wish him well on his second book; and,
