Resolution authorizing the City of Pittsburgh and the Departments of Innovation and Performance and Law to enter into an agreement with immigration attorney(s) to provide specialized legal services regarding immigration issues in the continued employment of designated personnel, including but not limited to preparing and filing nonimmigrant visa petitions/applications and advising regarding e-Verify requirements, at a cost not to exceed three thousand seven hundred fifty dollar and zero cents ($3,750.00).

Whereas the City requires professional services to perform legal services and advise the City of Pittsburgh's Department of Innovation & Performance regarding immigration and employment issues.
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and the Chief and Director of Innovation & Performance and Law Department, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into an agreement with immigration attorney(s) to provide specialized legal services regarding immigration issues in the continued employment of designated personnel, including but not limited to preparing and filing nonimmigrant visa petitions/applications and advising regarding e-Verify requirements, at a cost not to exceed three thousand seven hundred fifty dollar and zero cents ($3,750.00), chargeable to and payable from Account(s): JDE # 11101.53.53517.108000.2016
The form of the agreement shall be approved by the City Solicitor as to form and substance.
