Resolution authorizing the Mayor and Chief & Director of Innovation & Performance to enter into a Fellowship Participation Agreement with the SCA of Pittsburgh not to exceed $13,000 per year.

WHEREAS, SCA operates a local fellowship program for the purpose of providing work experiences to young sustainability professionals, to perform important community, planning and project management work for municipal agencies and for non-profit organizations; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to engage one SCA Fellow (the “Fellowship”) to carry out such projects; and
WHEREAS, the total cost for the City to engage a SCA Fellow for a ten-month term is Thirteen Thousand Dollars ($13,000).
WHEREAS, the length of the contract shall not exceed 3 years beginning March 2016 and ending December 2018
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and Chief & Director of Innovation & Performance are hereby authorized to enter into a Fellowship Participation Agreement with the SCA Pittsburgh at a cost not to exceed Thirteen Thousand Dollars ($13,000) per year, which shall be payable from the following account number:
$13,000 from 11101.103000.53901.2016
$13,000 from 11101.103000.53901.2017
$13,000 from 11101.103000.53901.2018
The Fellowship Participation Agreement shall be approved by the City Solicitor as to form and substance.
