Title: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize and commend The Federation of War Veterans' Societies of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania - City of Pittsburgh for organizing this important event and encourages all residents of our City to join in this commendation by attending the 2015 Pittsburgh Veterans' Day Parade; and, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Saturday, November 7th, 2015, to be "Veterans' Parade Day " in the City of Pittsburgh.

WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Pittsburgh is honored to recognize all of the Military Veterans who have dedicated their lives in service to our country, who contribute to the betterment of our city and its residents, and who stand proudly as a symbol of bravery and courage that serves to inspire us all; and, 

 

WHEREAS, The Federation of War Veterans' Societies of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania - City of Pittsburgh in commemoration of Veteran’s Day 2015 is organizing the 96th annual Pittsburgh Veterans’ Day Parade; and,

 

WHEREAS, the 2015 Veterans’ Day Parade is being held on Saturday, Nov 7th, 2015 beginning at 10:30 AM; and,

 

WHEREAS, it is always a great honor and privilege for our City to pay tribute to the men and women who serve and have served in our armed forces; and,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize and commend The Federation of War Veterans' Societies of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania - City of Pittsburgh for organizing this important event and encourages all residents of our City to join in this commendation by attending the 2015 Pittsburgh Veterans’ Day Parade; and,
