WHEREAS, the Construction Leadership Council (CLC) Leadership Development Conference of the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) will take place in Pittsburgh, September 17-19, 2015; and,
WHEREAS, the conference will bring together emerging construction leaders from across the country in various constructors sectors to network, learn and share; and,
WHEREAS, the Constructors Association of Western PA and the Master Builders Association chapters co-hosting the conference worked hard to create a unique program with key take-a-ways on how to improve performance in the industry; and,
WHEREAS, this conference is the only event of its kind for the construction industry, as well as an opportunity to connect with fellow emerging leader construction professionals from across the country by offering construction professionals diverse opportunity to develop their leadership skills, along with information on CLC best practices and how to grow local CLC groups; and,

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize the efforts of the Associated General Contractors of America and the Construction Leadership Council Leadership Development Conference to assemble young, influential leaders in the construction industry from across the country and to advance their leadership skills and abilities; and,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare Thursday, September 17, 2015, “CLC Leadership Development Conference Day” in the City of Pittsburgh.
