WHEREAS, the Northside Leadership Conference is a coalition of fourteen Northside neighborhoods and other community stakeholders, serving the entire Northside, which covers 20% of the city - the largest service area of any community development corporation (CDC) in the City; and,
WHEREAS, the Northside Leadership Conference is committed to addressing mutual concerns of Northside neighborhoods through a united approach in order to promote and enhance the vitality, quality of life and image of Pittsburgh's Northside, making it the largest and most comprehensive CDC in Pittsburgh; and,
WHEREAS, on June 11, 2015, at the Northside Institutional Church of God in Christ, the community will gather for the 31th Annual Northside Leadership Conference Awards Dinner, to honor the 2015 award recipients:
Neighborhood and Business Awards: for residents and community leaders who have accomplished neighborhood economic and residential development and many volunteer hours of service to each of their communities:
