Body
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
 
Section 1. The Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy, in partnership with the City of Pittsburgh Department of Public Works, are authorized to apply for a Watershed Restoration and Protection (WRPP) grant, in the amount of $300,000, to be used for green infrastructure projects in and adjacent to McKinley Park.
 
●      Area one is bound by Bernd Street, Zelda Way and Beltzhoover Avenue, where GI features can be implemented to capture water flows and divert them away from catch basins into McKinley Park
●       Area two involves directing stormwater into McKinley Park from Delmont, Michigan and Eldora Streets
Section 2. Mary M. Cheever, President and CEO of the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy, and Catherine Qureshi, Director of Administration and Finance are hereby designated as the officials to execute all documents and agreements between the Pittsburgh Parks Conservancy and the Commonwealth Financing Authority to facilitate and assist in obtaining the requested amount.
