Resolution vacating a portion of Old Browns Hill Road in the 14th Ward, 5th Council District of the City of Pittsburgh.

WHEREAS, it appears by the petition and affidavit on file in the Office of the City Clerk that the owners of all the property fronting or abutting on the line of a portion of Old Browns Hill Road in the 14th Ward, 5th Council District of the City of Pittsburgh, have petitioned the council of the City of Pittsburgh to enact a resolution for the vacation of same, and
WHEREAS, said petition contains inter-alia, an indemnification of the City from any claims and from the payment of any damages whatsoever resulting to any properties owned by the petitioners or by any persons whatsoever, abutting or non-abutting, for or by reason of said vacation.
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. Vacating a portion of Old Browns Hill Road and also reserving the right of easement of a 12" water line located therein, in the 14th Ward, 5th "Council District of the City of Pittsburgh as described as follows:

All that certain piece or parcel of ground situate in the 14 Ward, City of Pittsburgh, County of Allegheny, and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, designated as Existing Right of Way to be vacated, being more particularly bounded and described as follows:
Beginning at a point at the westerly corner of Parcel A, recorded in Revision no. 24 to Summerset at Frick Park in P.B.V. 270, PG. 76; thence S 45°51'16" E a distance of 100.85 feet to the True Point of Beginning. Thence from the True Point of Beginning, by the arc of a circle curving to the left having a radius of 245.00 feet an arc distance of 178.46 feet, subtended by a chord S 77°23'21" E a distance of 174.54 feet to a point; thence N 81°44'37" E a distance 27.27 feet to a point on the northerly line of Parkview blvd.; thence along future right of way line of Parkview Blvd. and Browns Hill Road the following seven (7) courses and distances: 1) by the arc of a circle curving to the right having a radius of 297.00 feet an arc distance of 4.86 feet, subtended by a chord S 43°22'27" W a distance of 4.86 feet to a point; 2) S 43°50'34" W a distance of 57.77 feet to a point; 3) by the arc of a circle curving to the right having a radius of 50.00 feet an arc distance of 48.13 feet, subtended by a chord S 71°25'19" W a distance of 46.30 feet to a point; 4) N 36°17'55" W a distance of 17.26 feet to a point; 5) S 40°54'28" W a distance of 10.45 feet to a point; 6) by the arc of a circle curving to the right having a radius of 50.00 feet an arc distance of 12.48 feet, subtended by a chord N 53°00'18" W a distance of 12.45 feet to a point; 7) N 45°51'16" W a distance of 115.77 feet to the True Point of Beginning.
