Resolution amending Resolution 1167 of 1986, which created the Microfilm Permit Plans Trust Fund, in order to rename the Trust Fund and to revise the categories of permitted expenditures to be made by the Department of Permits, Licenses, and Inspections (formerly Bureau of Building Inspection) with said Trust Fund monies.

Section 1. Resolution 1167 of 1986, which reads as follows:
The City Controller is hereby authorized and directed to create a special trust fund, to be designated as the Microfilm Permit Plans Trust Fund, in which trust funds there shall be deposited any and all fees paid by Bureau of Building Inspection permit applicants for each page of plans which are submitted. The monies deposited in said trust fund shall be used by the Bureau of Building Inspection to cover any and all expenses associated with the microfilming of plans which are submitted to the Bureau of Building Inspection for permit purposes.
Is hereby amended to read as follows:
The City Controller is hereby authorized and directed to create a special trust fund, to be designated as the [Microfilm Permit Plans Trust Fund] Department of Permits, Licenses, and Inspections Record Storage, Technology, and Operations Trust Fund, in which trust funds there shall be deposited any and all fees paid by [Bureau of Building Inspection] the Department of Permits, Licenses, and Inspections (the "Department") permit applicants for each page of plans which are submitted. The monies deposited in said trust fund shall be used by the Department [Bureau of Building Inspection] to cover any and all expenses associated with the microfilming of plans which are submitted to the Department [Bureau of Building Inspection] for permit purposes and for additional Department expenses relating to the technological storage of records; software, hardware, or automated reporting; staff training, uniforms, building maintenance, equipment, and/or supplies.
