Title: NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby declare February, 10 2015 to be "Classic Events! Legends" in the City of Pittsburgh.

WHEREAS, Founded by the honorable Ralph P. Watson, CLASSIC EVENTS! Public Relations and Marketing group brings awareness and exposure into new markets while connecting entrepreneurs to civic leader and business decision makers; and,
 
WHEREAS, CLASSIC EVENTS! Supports the infusion of small business with our region as an essential component to the overall success of Pittsburgh and the outlining communities providing stimulus to local economy; and,
 
WHEREAS, CLASSIC EVENTS! Public Relations, Marketing group hosts a variety of community-based events giving entrepreneurs a platform to showcase as they gain access to the new markets in the region; and,
 
WHEREAS, CLASSIC EVENTS! will celebrate its 4th Annual Black History Celebration on Saturday, February 28, 2015, with the theme, "Legends", which salutes several Pittsburgh notables who have left their imprint on the city in the areas of economic development, education, health, and politics, and;
 
WHEREAS, Honorees for this year's celebration include:  Hon. Brenda Frazier; Dr. Renee Frazier; Roger Humphries Sr.; Father Eric McIntosh; Rev. Johnnie G. Monroe; Chris Moore; William Neal; Charles M. Powell; Herman Reid; Hon. William R. Robinson; Charles Sanders; J.T. Thomas; Brenda J. Waters; Hon. Ralph P. Watson; Judge Warren Watson; and Frances Ford-Wilson.
