WHEREAS, Dino Rende, a student at St. Therese Catholic School in Munhall, has forged an avocation in TV, commercials and film at the young age of twelve; and,
WHEREAS, the youngest of three children of Pittsburgh Police Officer Frank Rende and Donna Rende , Dino got started in a media career by doing internet commercials and a full length movie done by Point Park University. He has since appeared in movie parts , TV pilots and series, commercials and industrials, voiceovers and modeling and has been cast in the upcoming NFL movie on concussions starring Will Smith; and,
WHEREAS, in his non-media life, Dino is an altar boy at St. Therese's Catholic Church and is heavily involved in sports. Dino plays basketball, baseball, golf, roller hockey, and is an avid dirt bike rider.

NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh does hereby recognize , commend and congratulate Dino Rende for his achievements in film , tv and media and wishes him great success in his future endeavors and interests .
