WHEREAS, the City seeks to amend Resolution No. 703 of 2014, effective November 4, 2014, in order to update Code Account payment information for a professional services agreement between the City and E.B. Jacobs, Inc.  
 
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
 
Section 1.      Resolution No. 703 of 2014, effective November 4, 2014, is hereby amended to authorize the Mayor and the City Solicitor, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, to enter into a professional services agreement or agreements with E.B. Jacobs, Inc. for consulting services to develop a system for review of information identified in the background checks used for hiring police officers and to provide input with regard to the City's development of revisions to its hiring process. Said agreement(s) shall be in a form approved by the City Solicitor and shall contain such terms and conditions as the City Solicitor may require.  The total amount of said agreement(s) shall not exceed $52,000.00 (Fifty-Two Thousand Dollars and No Cents), chargeable to and payable from Account 11101.53.53517.108000.201[4]5.
