Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
 
Section 1.  Resolution amending Resolution 651, effective 10-14-2014, so as to further amend Resolution 709, effective 11-28-2012, as follows:
 
"Section 1.  The Pittsburgh Parking Authority is hereby authorized to enter into an extended agreement, per a Memo of Understanding, with Carnegie Mellon University and Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, Inc. to adjust, from time to time, on-street parking meter rates for meters on Tech Street, Frew Street, Margaret Morrison Street, and portions of Schenley Drive, Panther Hollow Road, and Frank Curto Drive for a two-year pilot project beginning on January 1, 2013 and ending on December 31, 2014 2015.
 
A.      The Pittsburgh Parking Authority will continue to collect payment for these on-street metered parking spaces and disburse it to the City as per the co-operation agreement.  
B.      Carnegie Mellon University and Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, Inc. will receive no compensation and will receive no funds from these on-street metered parking spaces.
The Memorandum of Understanding shall be approved by the City Solicitor as to form and substance."
