Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
 
Section 1.      The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Safety are hereby authorized to enter into a professional services agreement or agreements on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh for the implementation of a Spay and Neuter program, whereby the City shall reimburse a private vendor or vendors for spay and neuter services performed upon animals owned by or in the care of City of Pittsburgh residents. The Spay and Neuter program shall be administered by the Department of Public Safety, Animal Control Division. The total cost of the Spay and Neuter program shall not exceed Fifty Thousand Dollars and no cents ($50,000.00), chargeable to and payable from 11101.53.53905.280000.2015. Said agreement or agreements shall be approved as to form and substance by the City Solicitor.
 
Finally, that any Ordinance or Resolution or part thereof conflicting with the provisions of this Resolution, is hereby repealed so far as the same affects this Resolution.
