Title
Resolution authorizing the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh to submit an application for financial assistance in the amount of $75,000 to the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development for a Municipal Assistance and Planning Grant for the Bus Rapid Transit Corridor Transit Revitalization Investment District planning study. (Council District 6).

Whereas, URA wishes to obtain financial assistance from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the amount of $75,000 for the Bus Rapid Transit Corridor Transit Revitalization Investment District planning study (the "Project"); and
Whereas, URA has prepared an application for financial assistance for the Project under the Department of Community and Economic Development Municipal Assistance Program.
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. URA is hereby authorized to file the Application with DCED in the amount of $75,000 for the Project and administration thereof.
Section 2. The City of Pittsburgh will assume the provision of the full local share of Project costs in the amount of $25,000 and will reimburse the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for the Commonwealth's share of any expenditure found by DCED to be ineligible.
