Title
Resolution authorizing the Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public Safety to enter into a grant agreement or agreements with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) as part of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's "2014 Port Security Grant Program", in the amount of One Hundred Thirty-Three Thousand Nine Hundred and Six Dollars and no cents ($133,906.00). The City's funding share with respect to this grant agreement or agreements is in the amount of Thirty-Three Thousand Four Hundred Seventy-Six Dollars and no cents ($33,476.00) and shall be payable from the Bureau of Police's 2014 Equipment Fund. The Federal Government's share with respect to this grant agreement or agreements is One-Hundred Thousand Four Hundred Thirty Dollars and no cents ($100,430.00) and shall be deposited into the City's Grants Trust Fund.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
Section 1. The Mayor and the Director of the Department of Public safety, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to enter into a grant agreement or agreements with the Federal Emergency Management Agency for purchases in conjunction with the 2014 Port Security Grant Program, including new SCUBA (Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus) equipment, a man-portable rapid deployment robot, and a diagnostic tool to provide real time X-rays. Pursuant to the 2014 Port Security Grant Program, said grant agreement or agreements shall provide a total sum of One Hundred Thirty-Three Thousand Nine Hundred and Six Dollars and no cents ($133,906.00) and shall be funded as follows:
FEMA's share of this sum shall be deposited into the following account:
2329400125.45703.00 ("Grants Trust Fund") in the amount of One-Hundred Thousand Four Hundred Thirty Dollars and no cents ($100,430.00). All expenditures from the Grants Trust Fund shall be chargeable to and payable from 2329400125.50000.00.
The City's share of this sum shall be chargeable to and payable from:
2326745014.50000.00 in the amount of Thirty-Three Thousand Four Hundred Seventy-Six Dollars and no cents ($33.476.00).
Said grant agreement or agreements must be approved as to form and substance by the City Solicitor.
