Resolution providing for the acceptance by the City of Pittsburgh from St. Vincent College and the Holy Ghost Seminary known as The Immaculate Heart of Mary certain property in the 19th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh for public purpose to become part of the Emerald View Park at no cost to the City of Pittsburgh.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1. The Mayor, the Director of the Department of Finance and the Director of the Department of Parks and Recreation, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to accept a deed from St. Vincent College and the Holy Ghost Seminary known as The Immaculate Heart of Mary conveying vacant land in the 19th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh to become part of the Emerald Green Park for public purpose at no cost to the City of Pittsburgh.

The property is described as follows:

ALL THAT CERTAIN LOTS or pieces of ground situate in the 19th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh, County of Allegheny and Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, being Lots 387, 388 and 389 in the Plan of Shaler Place, as recorded in the Office of the Department of Real Estate of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania in Plan Book Volume 14, pages 28, and 29, said lots being together bounded and described as follows:

Beginning at the corner of Augusta Street and an unnamed street, now called Shannopin Street; thence northeastwardly along Augusta Street, 120.15 feet to Lot No. 390 in said plan; thence southeastwardly along said lot, 90 feet, more or less, to said Shannopin Street, and thence southwestwardly along said Shannopin Street, 147.50 feet to the place of beginning.

BEING designated as Block 5-B, Lot 57.
