Title
Resolution granting to Comcast Cable Communications Management, LLC ("Comcast") a temporary construction license and permanent easement through designated City of Pittsburgh property in Highland Park.
 
Body
WHEREAS, Comcast requires access to certain property in Highland Park ("Subject Property") for the purpose of installing conduit in order to provide Business Class internet services to the Pittsburgh Zoo;  
 
WHEREAS, the City owns that parcel of land in Highland Park designated as Parcel Number 0082-H-001-0000-02.
 
WHEREAS, the City has agreed to grant Comcast a temporary construction license and permanent easement over the Subject Property; and
 
WHEREAS, the parties wish to execute a Temporary Construction License and Easement Agreement to document this transfer of rights.
 
Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
 
Section 1.      The Mayor and the Directors of the Department of Public Works and Parks and Recreation, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, are hereby authorized to execute an agreement granting to Comcast a temporary construction license and permanent easement, upon which to install conduit, over and through a portion of the premises situated in the City of Pittsburgh, County of Allegheny, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, identified as Parcel Number 0082-H-001-0000-0. The easement granted to Comcast hereunder is described more particularly in "Exhibit A", attached hereto. Said Agreement shall be in the form approved by the City Solicitor and shall contain such terms and conditions as the Solicitor may require.
