WHEREAS, Construction Junction is a nonprofit located in Point Breeze that serves the Pittsburgh community through striving to keep usable building materials out of landfills and provide them to the community for reuse.; and
WHEREAS, Construction Junction with the support of the Pennsylvania Resources Council (PRC) was the first non-profit building material reuse retailer in Pittsburgh; and
WHEREAS, it is Construction Junction's mission is environmentally and socially focused to support and promote conservation through the reuse of building materials; and
WHEREAS, Construction Junction desires at their annual fundraiser on September 6th, 2014 , the Steel City Big Pour, to raffle off Kegerators painted by local artists in order to raise funds to support the programming and operations of the organization.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Pittsburgh hereby recognizes Construction Junction to be a civic and/or service organization within the context of the Pennsylvania Small Games of Chance Act, as amended.
