Title

Resolution approving Execution of a Contract for Disposition by Sale of Land by and between the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh and Go Realty LLC, for the Sale of Disposition Parcel  26 in Redevelopment Area No. 51, in the 25th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh - Council District No.6 (Site Assembly for Residential Development - Carrington Street).

Body

Whereas, pursuant to Resolution No. 951, effective December 22, 1995, and Resolution No. 486, effective October 11, 2004, and in the manner prescribed by the Urban Redevelopment Law, Act of May 24, 1945, P.L. 991, as amended, the Redevelopment Proposal for Redevelopment Area No. 51, in the 22^nd and 25^th  Wards of the City of Pittsburgh was approved; and

Whereas, the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh has requested authorization to execute a Contract for Disposition by Sale of Land by and between the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh and Go Realty LLC, in connection with the sale of Disposition Parcel 26, for $3,500, said property being located in the 25th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh in Redevelopment Area No. 51; and

Whereas, the Council of the City of Pittsburgh believes that the proposed Contract is in the best interest of the City of Pittsburgh and desires to give its approval in accordance with the provisions of the Urban Redevelopment Law.

Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.      That execution of the Contract for Disposition by Sale of Land by and between the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh and Go Realty LLC, in connection with the sale of Disposition Parcel 26 for $3,500, said property being located in the 25th Ward of the City of Pittsburgh, be and the same is hereby approved, said Contract being in conformity with the Redevelopment Proposal for Redevelopment Area No. 51, as amended, in the 22^nd and 25^th Wards of the City of Pittsburgh.
