WHEREAS, committed to the principles of collaboration and communication as being fundamental to the practice of architecture, Daniel Rothschild first founded Rothschild Architects in Regent Square on November 21, 1988 and was immediately joined by Ken Doyno; and
WHEREAS, in 1997, after years of utilizing their Design Sketchbook Process, a methodology based on collaboration and inclusivity, Daniel named Ken partner, then changing the firm's name in 2003 to Rothschild Doyno Architects; and
WHEREAS, continuing its growth, the firm's work expanded to include the restoration of communities through urban and community design, with their expertise in vision and execution garnering them awards and accolades; and
WHEREAS, in developing their ESP Framework analysis tool, the firm recognized that successful community restoration considers not only the physical realm but also the network of economic and social forces that can align to meet the needs of all people; and
WHEREAS, the firm officially became Rothschild Doyno Collaborative in 2008, moving its headquarters to its current location in the Strip District and codifying its mission as an architecture and urban design firm committed to a collaborative process with clients that increases the value of the built environment through meaningful design solutions; and
WHEREAS, in 2013, Rothschild Doyno Collaborative expanded ownership to include partners Geoff Campbell, Michael Gwin, and Kate Tunney; and
WHEREAS, over the years, Rothschild Doyno Collaborative has received numerous awards and honors from the Pittsburgh and Pennsylvania chapters of the American Institute of Architects for architecture and for urban design projects; and
WHEREAS, Rothschild Doyno Collaborative shares its success in celebration with the clients, communities, consultants, contractors, and craftspeople with whom they have worked together throughout the City of Pittsburgh and the region; and
