Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
 
 
Section 1.  Resolution authorizing the Director of Public Safety and the Department of Public Works to study the effectiveness of installing pedestrian crossing flags by executing a pilot program to install pedestrian crossing flags at unregulated mid-street crosswalks ten major intersections throughout the City for the purpose of increasing pedestrian safety at a cost not to exceed $10,000.00 $1,000.00 payable from City Council Acct # 11101.101200.53101.2013  
 
Section 2. The Mayor, Director of the Department of Public Safety, and the Director of the Deparment of Public Works shall enter into agreement or agreements or contract or contracts with the purpose of covering said costs of the pilot program.
