Resolution authorizing the Director of the Department of Public Safety to enter into a Agreement with the Southwest Pennsylvania Emergency Response Group (Region 13) for the purpose of receiving grant funding in the amount not to exceed $100,000 to reimburse the City for personnel expenses not reimbursable by the Pittsburgh Marathon Organization.

Be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:

Section 1.      The Director of the Department of Public Safety, on behalf of the City of Pittsburgh, is hereby authorized to enter into a Agreement with the Southwest Pennsylvania Emergency Response Group (Region 13) for the purpose of receiving grant funding not to exceed One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000) to reimburse the City for personnel expenses not reimbursable by the Pittsburgh Marathon Organization.  Grant monies will be deposited into the following accounts:  

11101.43.43709.220000.2013 for the Bureau of EMS

11101.43.43709.230000.2013 for the Bureau of Police;

11101.43.43709.250000.2013 for the Bureau of Fire;

11101.43.43709.420000.2013 for the Department of Public Works.

The Grant Agreement shall be approved by the City Solicitor as to form and substance.
