Title
Resolution authorizing the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh to submit an Application to the Pennsylvania Office of the Budget, or amend the existing application, for an additional  Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program grant of up to $750,000 for the Local 449's Steamfitters Technology Center project.  (Council District 2)
Body
Whereas, the City of Pittsburgh (the "City") and the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh ("URA") wish to obtain from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Office of the Budget (the "Commonwealth") a grant under the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program ("RACP") of up to $750,000 to be used for the Local 449's Steamfitters Technology Center project (the "Project"); and
 
Whereas, the Commonwealth has previously awarded $750,000 in RACP funds for the Project for a total of $1,500,000;
 
Whereas, the Commonwealth requires the City to agree to reimburse it for any expenditure of RACP funds determined by the Commonwealth to be ineligible;
 
Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Council of the City of Pittsburgh as follows:
 
Section 1.      The Urban Redevelopment Authority of Pittsburgh is hereby authorized to file an application. or amend the existing application, with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Office of the Budget for an additional grant under the Redevelopment Assistance Capital Program ("RACP) up to $750,000 for the Local 449's Steamfitters Technology Center project, bringing the total RACP grant for the Project to $1,500,000
 
      Section 2.      The City agrees to reimburse the Commonwealth for any expenditure of RACP funds in the amount of $750,000 or $1,500,000 for the entire Project, determined by the Commonwealth to be ineligible.
